About This Episode Some wives in the Marriage After God community asked us to talk about this, and it is so encouraging to know there are wives actively trying to understand how to help their husbands lead their homes. Aaron starts with what Scripture says about headship in Ephesians 5 and 1 Corinthians 11, explaining that a husband's authority is derived from Christ, not from being a man, and that no woman is called to submit to him except his own wife. Jennifer opens up about her own growth in submission, including the school-loan debt and an apology at a sandwich shop. Then we share five practical ways a wife can encourage her husband to lead spiritually, anchored in 1 Peter 3 and the quiet power of godly conduct.
