The Return Of Christ
Show notes
About This Episode In this episode, we discuss the return of Christ and how it is meant to encourage us as believers. Jesus' coming should stir in us an urgency to love people and share the gospel, not out of fear but out of hope. We talk about the church age we are living in now as a season of God's patience, meant to lead people to repentance, and we walk through 1 Thessalonians 4, 2 Peter 3, and Acts 1. We also look at the Jewish wedding picture of a bride waiting for her groom, and at Jesus returning bodily on the Mount of Olives as a lion and king. Our takeaway: live like there's no tomorrow, but plan and live your life as if you'll be here for 100 years, building a godly legacy.
