About This Episode Having a mission statement for your family isn't required, but it can be very beneficial for creating and maintaining the culture of your home. We had never made one before, so after hearing from several interview guests how much it transformed their families, we decided to create ours live while you listen. We brainstorm the core values we want to define the Smith home, name the phrases we already find ourselves repeating to our kids, and look to Scripture to anchor it all. It's honest and unscripted, and we hope it gives you a simple starting point for casting vision with your own family. Remember, it's an ongoing process meant to unify your family, not a rulebook.
