What It's Like Being A Part of a Home Church

About This Episode We grew up in what many would call megachurches, and today we are part of a small home church with about ten families. In this episode we share our first-hand experience of what it is really like. We talk about how our church is structured with elders and leadership, what a gathering looks like with kids staying alongside their parents, how that pushed us to be intentional about training our children, singing hymns a cappella, how teaching is shared among the men with elders guarding sound doctrine, and the long potluck fellowship that fills our Sundays. Whatever your church looks like, we hope this reminds you that the church is the people you gather with.

About Aaron & Jennifer Smith Aaron and Jennifer Smith are the founders of Marriage After God and authors of Husband After God, Wife After God, and Marriage After God.
