Your Marriage Can Heal — Even If You're the Only One Working On It with Belah Rose

Show notes

About This Episode What if your marriage could heal even if your spouse never joins you in the work? Belah Rose, founder of Delight Your Marriage, has coached more than 500 couples and has watched it happen hundreds of times. Aaron sits down with Belah to talk about why pride is the chief enemy of every marriage, what it looks like for one husband or wife to take the lead in healing, and the apology framework that gets the rot out of the foundation. Belah shares her own story: a first marriage that ended in divorce, years of anger at God, and a kind husband whose love pointed her back to Jesus. Along the way she unpacks the Delight Your Marriage framework, the 1–10 marriage health scale, why your openness has to match where your marriage actually is, and the SHORE apology (Specific, Humble, Own, Repair, Exonerate). If you feel like the only one trying, this conversation is for you.
