The One Thing You Can Actually Be the Greatest At — with Pastor Mark Moore

Show notes

About This Episode What if there is only one thing in your entire life you could actually be the greatest at, and you are neglecting it? Pastor Mark Moore has been married 40 years, teaches at an 18-campus church in Phoenix, and has spent decades studying Scripture. His answer is one of the most freeing things you will hear. Mark tells Aaron about the Father's Day card that brought him to tears, the abuse and brokenness he discovered in his family line, and why breaking that generational pattern is the greatest achievement of his life. From Wisdom 52, his catalog of Solomon's proverbs, he gets practical about phones as modern idols, the household rules his family kept, why Solomon's son became a fool, and why gratitude and anxiety cannot occupy the same space. The conversation closes with the sin Proverbs warns about most, pride, and why it quietly kills great marriages.
