17 Marriage Devotional: Wisdom That Strengthens Your Marriage
Show notes
About This Episode Wisdom is something every couple wants, but it is more than knowing what is right. In this devotional, we look at wisdom personified in Proverbs 8 and at Job 28, where God declares that the fear of the Lord is wisdom. Foolishness is knowing the truth yet not acting on it, and we see that in Eve's choice in the garden. We talk about being doers of the word and not hearers only, the difference between worldly wisdom and the wisdom from above in James 3, and asking God for wisdom as Solomon did. Then we share the fruit that walking in wisdom brings to a marriage, from trust and financial freedom to deeper intimacy.
