15 Marriage Devotional: Anger
Show notes
About This Episode Anger and fear are part of how God designed us, but when they go unchecked they can take control of our homes and damage our marriages. In this devotional, we get honest about our own struggles: Aaron with anger, especially when he feels disrespected, and Jennifer with fear and anxiety. We talk about how fear in one spouse can trigger anger in the other and disrupt communication. We look at how God is both righteous in His anger and slow to anger and rich in mercy, and at Scripture's call to self-control. We also discuss when anger can be rightly directed at sin and injustice, and how 2 Timothy 1:7 answers our fears.
