11 Marriage Devotional: The Joy of God's Economy
Show notes
About This Episode Money is one of the most common areas of tension for couples, yet Scripture calls us to approach our finances with trust, generosity and open hands. In this devotional, we talk about what it means to live according to God's economy in marriage, seeing money, time and resources as His rather than ours. We share a Ramsey study naming money as the second leading cause of divorce, Jennifer's story of a friend's generosity during a season of postpartum anxiety, and our own testimony of giving generously while paying off debt after God prompted us through Malachi 3:10. God's economy doesn't always line up with the world's expectations, but it leads to freedom and joy. When couples share a biblical view of money, finances become less about control and more about stewardship.
