07 Marriage Devotional: Is Marriage Meant To Make You Holy?
Show notes
About This Episode In this devotional, we talk about God's holiness, the process of Him refining us, and how marriage provides the context for that sanctification to continue. Difficult seasons reveal what's hidden beneath the surface, the way fire brings impurities in gold to the top and drought drives roots deeper. We share how our spouse often becomes a reflection of the sin in our own lives, how the Holy Spirit is faithful to scrape away what doesn't belong, and what God did in us during our compressed early years as missionaries in Zambia. We are better today than we were years ago, quicker to forgive and quicker to reconcile, and our hope is that this episode encourages you to embrace God's refining work instead of running from it.
