Healing & Transformation In Marriage w/ Roy Wooten
Show notes
About This Episode Aaron talks with Roy Wooten of The Crucible Project about vulnerability, confession, and the healing God brings into marriage. Roy describes a 2009 retreat where grace moved from his head into every cell of his body as God met him in a wound from when he was five years old and the lie that he was unlovable. He gets practical about conflict: how to get un-triggered by burning off cortisol somewhere else, how to see the hurting little girl in a triggered wife, and how to take responsibility for your own part. Roy explains why so many men carry an invisible backpack of secrets and live isolated, and why confession breaks sin's stronghold. As he puts it, it's hard to believe somebody really loves you if they don't know the truth about you.
