What To Do After a Fight

Show notes

About This Episode Fights are more common in Christian marriages than they should be. Prompted by a listener's question, and honest that they had just had a hard conversation of their own before hitting record, Aaron and Jennifer explain why fighting should be a rare occurrence for a husband and wife walking in the Spirit. When a fight does break out, the goal is reconciliation, unity, and oneness. They walk through the biblical steps that help them get there: remembering who you are in Christ, pursuing reconciliation instead of winning, not letting the sun go down on anger, confessing and praying together out loud, letting go of the record of wrongs, and even holding hands to reconnect.

Married since 2007 and raising six children in Bend, Oregon, they started Husband Revolution and Unveiled Wife to share what God was teaching them, not from a place of having it figured out, but as fellow travelers pointing couples back to Jesus.
