Understanding God's Will, Making Confident Decisions, Finding Freedom From Paralysis - w/ Costi Hinn
Show notes
About This Episode Aaron sits down with Costi Hinn, pastor, author, and founder of For the Gospel, to demystify God's will. Costi grew up in the prosperity gospel as the nephew of Benny Hinn and was converted out of it by reading Scripture, a journey his down-to-earth wife Christine sparked. He describes the brutal first years of marriage as God stripped away his old identity. Drawing from his book Walking in God's Will, Costi explains the difference between God's secret, sovereign will and His revealed will of command, which gives us plenty to keep us busy. He shares seven P's for no-regret decisions, why peace matters but shouldn't be your only factor, and how marriage provides built-in accountability. He also warns against paralysis by analysis, the "God told me" gag order, and fear-driven church cultures that shame people for moving away.
