Show notes

About This Episode Dustin Garrett's story is proof that the truth really does set people free. In this episode, Aaron talks with Dustin, now with Samaritan Ministries, about his years of heroin addiction from age 15 to 23, coming to Christ while in jail, and the two years he spent at a rescue mission memorizing Scripture. Dustin explains why freedom comes through the renewing of the mind and surrender rather than willpower, and why accountability under the elders of a good local church is so important for lasting change.
