About This Episode Prophecy is history written in advance, and it is one of the things that sets the Bible apart from every other book. In this episode we look at Old Testament prophecies about Jesus' ministry, death, and resurrection, many of which He could never have arranged Himself. We cover the messenger who prepared the way, Jesus in the temple as a child, His ministry to the poor and oppressed, His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, His betrayal by a friend, and the details of His crucifixion. Then we turn to the resurrection, prefigured by Jonah's three days, and what it means for our own hope of eternal life. Along the way we share some life notes, celebrations, and testimonies, and why the New Testament is the key that unlocks Old Testament prophecy.
