This truth can change the course of your life

Show notes

About This Episode In this episode, we talk about an important truth: the words we choose to receive and believe directly shape the course of our lives. Proverbs shows that wisdom and understanding come from accepting words of insight, and Jesus' parable of the seeds and soil shows that words only take root when they are fully received. We share how believing certain words helped us get out of debt and write our book, Marriage After God, along with stories of a jiu-jitsu defeat, a missionary who called Aaron lazy, and a teacher whose words stayed with Jennifer. The enemy knows that lies believed lead to deception and destruction, so we contrast the world's messages with God's, and correct a popular misquote about what God will give you. We close by encouraging you to dream together and commit your work to the Lord.
