Words Build & Shape: If We Have The Same Words In Marriage, We Can Accomplish Anything
Show notes
About This Episode In this episode, we explore the incredible power words have in our world and our marriage, tracing it back to the creation story. Just as God spoke the world into being, the enemy tempted and deceived using words. At the Tower of Babel, unified language and common words allowed people to accomplish anything, and having the same words in our marriage can do the same for us. We talk about how the printing press spread ideas and put the Bible into common tongues, how translation choices shape meaning, and how words today are being redefined contrary to their original intent. We also reflect on the next ten years of parenting and how prayer primes us to see the good in each other. Whose words are we listening to and repeating: the world's, or God's life-giving words?
