10 Relationships In The Bible That Can Inspire Our Marriage PART 2
Show notes
About This Episode In part two of our series on relationships in the Bible, we move into the New Testament. We begin with Ananias and Sapphira, a sobering warning about a couple agreeing together in sin and projecting a false image. Then we look at Priscilla and Aquila, whose names always appear together in Scripture: they worked side by side, traveled, opened their home to a church, and courageously corrected Apollos. We consider how Jesus invited Peter, James and John into His most intimate moments, how He restored Peter with three "do you love me" questions after three denials, and how Paul encouraged Timothy to fan his gift into flame. Each relationship offers a picture of honesty, partnership, vulnerability and reconciliation for our marriages.
