10 Relationships In The Bible That Can Inspire Our Marriage PART 1

Show notes

About This Episode In this first of two episodes, we look at some of the most powerful relationship stories in the Old Testament and what they can teach us about marriage. We open with a running analogy: a couple joined like a rubber band has to move together, or the bond snaps. From there we explore Isaac and Rebekah, from her willing "I will go" to a love that went beyond appearance; Jonathan and David, whose souls were knit together as Jonathan laid down his claim to the throne; Ruth and Naomi's clinging loyalty; Ruth and Boaz's story of redemption; and Daniel and his three friends, tested together and refusing to bow. These aren't marriage templates, but each offers insight into how we love one another.
