About This Episode Why did God give us the ability to remember? Throughout Scripture He commands His people to remember where they came from, what they struggled through, and how He saved them, because to remember is to apply the lessons of the past to the circumstances of today. After some family updates on school, home church, and the pre-launch of our new devotional, we dig into the science of memory: how neurons connect and form synapses, the different types of memory, and the ways we forget. Then we turn to marriage with a list of more than 20 things you should never forget, from anniversaries and kissing to boundaries, forgiveness, and the truth that you sin too. The greatest thing to remember is what God did for us on the cross.
