About This Episode This episode is a little different. We've been doing a lot of podcast interviews for the launch of The Marriage Gift, and those conversations had us reflecting on our own story. We share first impressions from the hosts we met, then revisit our dating years and the first roughly four years of marriage, when intimacy was nearly nonexistent and God used that hard season to refine idols, pride and selfishness in us. We talk about what we'd tell our 20-year-old selves, including Aaron dealing with pornography sooner and choosing to be the husband or wife you're praying for rather than waiting for "the one."
