About This Episode They say the Jesus Movement of the 1960s and 70s was the greatest spiritual awakening America has ever seen. In this episode, Aaron and Jennifer review the film Jesus Revolution and share how personally connected they are to it, having both grown up in Southern California, with Aaron attending Greg Laurie's Harvest Christian Fellowship and growing up on Calvary Chapel radio. They discuss what the film dramatizes, why its honest look at the messiness of the people involved is actually encouraging, and how God delights in using imperfect, foolish people. They close by asking whether revival can happen again, and suggest it may need to begin inside the church, with believers returning to their first love.
