About This Episode Aaron and Jennifer love friendship, and God has provided real, deep friendships in many places throughout their marriage. Prompted by questions from their friend Cody, they talk about why deep friendships within the body of Christ are a necessity rather than an option, because believers cannot live as floating islands. Every friendship took time, and each one seemed to have a hard moment that gave them the chance to press on in love. They name conflict as the hardest part and the urge to run away, admit mistakes they have made, and push back on selfish, comfort-only friendships by pointing to Jesus, who invited all twelve disciples, including Judas. They share practical ways to go deeper, from asking honest questions to apologizing quickly.
