Jesus Is Our Passover: how Jesus Himself fulfilled the Passover feast in his life death and resurrection
Show notes
About This Episode As Passover and Easter approach, Aaron and Jennifer share how Jesus Himself fulfilled the Passover feast in His life, death, and resurrection. Walking through Exodus 12, they show how the elements of the feast align with the life of Christ: the lamb's blood on the doorposts and lintel, the unleavened bread, the afikomen that is broken, wrapped, and hidden, the bitter herbs, and the four cups of wine. They trace the events of Holy Week alongside the Passover timeline, from the lamb being selected on Palm Sunday to Jesus dying at 3pm as the Passover lambs were slain. As the Season 5 finale, they close by sharing what they are grateful for in their 14 years of marriage. The feast is merely a shadow, but He is the substance.
