About This Episode This might be our funniest episode of the season. We share stories from our own family and brainstorm a long list of simple ways to have fun together, from game nights and backyard camping to road trips with junk food, projector movies on the ceiling, dance parties, gardening, science experiments, and even a Christmas cardboard-box maze. We talk about adapting ideas to your budget and your family, why simpler is often more memorable than expensive outings, and how boredom can actually fuel creativity. Most of all, we want to encourage you to create a fun atmosphere in your home regardless of what you may be going through, because joy. As we put it, we didn't know we were making memories; we just knew we were having fun.
