About This Episode In our modern-day culture, the word love is used for everything from pizza and board games to our kids and our spouse, and as a result it has been diluted. So who gets to define love? In this episode we look at how God, who is love, defines it, and why the proof of love is in our actions, not just our words. We share the first mention of love in the Bible, in Genesis 22, as a picture of the gospel, walk through 1 Corinthians 13 as a heart check on patience and kindness, and talk about initiating love instead of waiting for your spouse to go first, because we love because He first loved us.
